This protocol enables the IGSS32 communication driver to e.g. Virtual connections using AlarmNet are supervised by Tele Danmark as network operator thus making AlarmNet connections more reliable and safe than normal telephone connections.Īll network alarms (network errors, power failures etc.) reported by AlarmNet are passed through the driver to the IGSS32 alarm application thereby giving the user precise information about network status even if no data is being exchanged.Ī special FT2000 protocol is provided on top of the AlarmNet protocol.
IGSS32 is connected to AlarmNet as VC equipment.
The FT2000 and FT2000US equipment – typically used for monitoring and control of remote pumpstations – is connected to AlarmNet as AU terminals. IGSS32 offers an interface for connecting to FT2000 and FT2000US equipment using TeleDanmark AlarmNet (TeknikNet) as network provider.
